Eyes on the Sky

The Calumet Astronomical Society is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization whose primary goal is to further the knowledge of astronomy in Northwest Indiana and the surrounding communities.  To this end, the Calumet Astronomicial Society hosts public observing sessions at its Thomas Conway Observatory in Lowell, Indiana.  At the Society's monthly meetings, local astronomers, NASA Solar System Ambassadors, or University astronomy professors present programs related to astronomy or space exploration.  All these events are open to the public, family friendly, and FREE.  Because the membership base of the Calumet Astronomical Society is small, members' dues are not enough to offset the costs of maintaining both the Thomas Conway Observatory and the Mildred Hunter Astrophotography Lab located at the Calumet Astronomy Center.  Individual and corporate donations will help us continue to provide quality astronomy programs in Northwest Indiana.  Your donations, no matter how small, will be deeply appreciated.  Please share this information with your friends on your social media sites.
