Erica's Journey with MS
Donation protected
My daughter Erica was recently diagnosed with MS (multiple sclerosis), and wants to participate in the MS150 next year. The MS 150 is a two-day fundraising bike ride with 13,000 riders organized by staff and volunteers from the National MS Society South Central Region. In order to train and participate in this event, she needs a bike which will also help keep her legs in shape during the progression of this disease. MS is an unpredictable disease of the central nervous system where the immune system attacks a person's healthy tissues. It cannot be cured, and it varies from case to case, so we have no real prognosis at this time.
I'm a single mother trying to do what I can to help her during this process that is new to all of us. I'm asking for donations to help her purchase a bike and the equipment she needs and also for her entry fee into the MS150. Our family appreciates you taking the time to read this and any help you can give!
