Hi friends,
My name is Christine Beaubrun and I am a web developer. I discovered programming just last year while in the hospitality industry and my life hasn't been the same since.
Currently I am a fellow at the Flatiron School Web Development program, a prestigious and competitive program where the admission rate is less than ten percent. In five months, I have built web application using Ruby on Rails, JavaScript and jQuery APIs, PostgreSQL, MySQL, HTML and CSS. Programming has completely transformed my life. My desire to continue learning is boundless. As the recipient to the full Human JavaScript scholarship, I have the opportunity to attend the Human JavaScript Live free - https://andyet.com/training/human-javascript-live. I will be learning how to build high-quality software with JavaScript, Backbone.js, and Ampersand.js. This scholarship does not include flight and hotel accommodation so any help towards my trip would be greatly appreciated. The trip is from Monday, August 25th to Thursday, 28th.
