I am writing to you with an exciting opportunity to help kids in our community. I represent a group of parents called the “Waterville Music Boosters.” We raise money to support over 400 student musicians in grades 5-12, in the strings, band and chorus programs, through financial and coordinating support.
The High School music students (band, chorus and strings) will be traveling to New York City in March of 2015 to compete in the World Strides Heritage Music Festival. For some students, this is a once-in-a-lifetime trip to New York City! In order to provide all students the opportunity to travel to and compete in New York City, we need your help.
