Support Fund for Jillians Leg

This Support Fund is for my daughter Jillian and her family. June 6, 2014 changed their life when she had to have her right leg amputated. It has been by far a very emotional journey.

During a simple walk to take her two small children to school, Jill scraped the bottom of her foot. Due to having diabetes a simple laceration on her foot became a full blown diabetic complication. A two year ordeal ensued as the infection spread. She has had numerous hospital stays, anti biotic treatments and surgeries. The doctors did all they could do, but the infection went to her bones. The battle to save her foot was lost and the doctors had no choice but to amputate her leg.

Her surgery was successful and she no longer suffers from being sick with the infection. Now she is ready for a prosthetic leg so she can walk again and get back to living a full life free from illness.

The insurance will only cover 80% of her new leg. Im asking for your help to raise the money she needs to meet the mounting medical bills and copay for her prosthetic leg and to cover expenses while she is in the rehab hospital learning to walk again.

I adore my daughter and her bravery and courage never cease to amaze me.
