Help our sister get to Africa.

Donation protected
In 2014 our 32-year-old sister, Amanda, was diagnosed with Huntington's disease (HD).  HD is an inherited disease that causes certain nerve cells in the brain to waste away. It takes away a person's ability to walk, talk, and swallow. The average lifespan after onset of HD is 10-20 years.

Being on a fixed income, she's worked within her means to continue to live life to it's fullest within the Toledo area. With very little left at the end of the month, her adventures have been very limited. She has recently told us about a dream trip to Africa. This would be her first time out of the states and would be the trip of her lifetime. We're going to help as much as we possibly can, but are unable to afford it on our own. We truly appreciate your help and if a donation is not an option please simply send prayers and positive thoughts her way!

We plan to create a blog for the trip and will be sure to keep anyone interested updated along the way.

Please note, if her HD progresses prior to raising the amount for Africa we will be sure to update you with the new location that is not as physical. Also, if not enough funds are raised, we will find a new destination out of the states that is more affordable.

Thanks so much for your time!
