Jacob is 8 years old and has Aspergers syndrome, and muscle development delay, he is a happy little boy with only one dream. He wants to meet Jensen Ackles.
Why Jensen?
When Jacob was 5 years old he was plagued by nightmares, he would spend hours screaming and crying. Until we came up with an idea to tell him about these hunters who would always save him from the monsters. We allowed him to watch parts of episodes and soon he had photos of Dean Sam and Cas upon his walls watching over him. He is going to be 9 this year and he is very attached to Dean, and he is the one person he has not yet met. So I have made a promise to him that he will get to meet Jensen in 2015.
So why are we asking for money you ask?
Well we were originally going to take Jacob to Rome to attend a convention there, however they told us they could not make arrangements for Jacob, that as he is in a wheel chair he would have to sit in the corridor. This is not what we want him to experience.
Jacob has attended conventions in England and he loves the panels.
So after considering our options it became obvious that we would have to go to a convention in the USA in order for Jacob to be treated with the dignity and respect he deserves.
So this is going to cost alot more than our original budget, so I am here to ask the SPN family for some help. Help me make my boys dream come true.
