Empower Africa's Youth #YOUTHLEAD

Based in New York City, the organization was founded in 2011 by young Africans, passionate about establishing a network of young Africans in the US committed to bring change in their respective communities and in the African continent. 

Concious of the myriad of challenges faced by African youth globally, the organization's mission is to cultivate leadership from awareness to action by building capacity for African youth through the transfer of skills, knowledge exchange and providing opportunities for lifelong engagement with Africa.

Initial funding will go towards key 2015 programs impacting more than 500  youth in the US and Africa. The programs include : 
1. CYAL Fellowship Program (USA)
2. #YOUTHLEADAFRICA Entrepreneurship Camp (Kenya) 
3. Young African Leadership Symposium (NYC)
