Curt and Heather

Early this morning Putnam County Sheriff's deputies responded to a fatal single vehicle crash on county road 1000 South just east of Cloverdale. The vehicle lost control rolling over several times striking a telephone pole in the process. The vehicle caught on fire and was extinguished by fire dept. personnel. Emergency responders extricated the two people in the car and worked hard in an attempt to save the driver. Unfortunately the driver succumbed to his injuries. The passenger was critically injured and transported from the scene.

Putnam County Sheriff's Deputies are investigating the accident. Indiana State Police were called on scene to perform an accident reconstruction. Additionally Operation Life, Stat Flight, Cloverdale Fire, Putnam County Coroner, Hendricks County REMC and Curtis Towing were on scene.    This was my sister and her husband.. they have 4 kids together.. . Heather ( 30 )  is in critical care unit at St. Vincent with broken ribs a broken back facial fractures, broken clavicle. Sadly curt (37) didn’t make it .. he passed away from blunt force trauma .. he didn’t suffer at all.  Heather needs all the help she can get.. this is going to be a long road to recovery both mentally and physically for her. Although we are deeply saddened by Curt’s passing, we are thankful that Heather is still with us. Thank everyone for all the love and support shown towards her and the family.. I know she appreciates it. And if you really know her you’d know that she don’t like asking for anything.. so, I’m asking for her. Please help her and her babies. We’re all doing what we can but sometimes it takes a village... thank you in advance
