Mom's AC and Stuff

My mom has an unknown neuromuscular disease. She has been to several doctors, including the head of the UF Shand's neuromuscular department, and no one has managed to diagnose or find a solution. Her problems have gotten worse: it started with excruciating pain in her lower back due to misaligned discs and has now progressed into lesions in her cerebral cortex. 

She cannot walk at all nor do most of her daily functionings. She is only able to lay on a blow-up bed and sleep most of her time away due to depression about her health. Because of the cereberal lesions, her focus has become impaired and her personality has completely changed; she can only lay in bed because of it. Going to the store is incredibly painful to her. She has lost her job for almost two years because of this and lives off only on food stamps. If those go out, she won't have anything to eat at all. She is fighting to get disability, but so far, nothing fruitful has come from her efforts. 

I have set this Go Fund Me to help her pay to fix her AC. She lives in southwest Florida where it rains and get hot/humid quite often. Her car is also broken down. She cannot afford to fix her AC and the heat may make her feel even worse than what she already does. 

As for myself, I am her daughter who is trying to go to medical school to help people like my mother who are unable to get proper health care in the neurological fields. I hope that one day, I can find a solution to my mother's syndrome and help her (and countless others) who have suffered through this.
