Matt hails from the land of Trailer Park Boys and Ellen Page's hometown, Nova Scotia, Canada. Now residing in Vancouver, Matt followed his dreams and is a highly skilled Harley Davidson motorcycle mechanic. When he isn't working on bikes he's playing with our dog, Emma, and nerding out over Game of Thrones.
I am a Seattle, Washington native that is fueled by coffee, especially on week days. I work full time as a receptionist and I am also going to school for a paralegal certification. While I have a busy schedule, I still make time to cuddle our dog, Buddy, and eat Ben N Jerry's more than I would like to admit.
Matt and I started hanging out four years ago, when I went up to Canada for a concert. Since then they have been going back and forth almost every weekend to see each other. We lived together for about a year when Matt went to school in Arizona to become a motorcycle technician. During that time we got Emma, our youngest Boston Terrier. After he finished school he had to move back to Canada, and I moved back to Seattle.
We both agree it is time to stop going back and forth across the border and bring our dogs back together again. After speaking with an immigration lawyer we are going forward with the process of getting Matt to Seattle. Our biggest obstacle is the cost of the legal fees. Matt will not be able to work for the first few months he is living in Seattle so money will be very tight.
$2,000 of the fees will be due at the end of November, and the rest will be due a little later down the road.
