Bam-Bam's heartworm treatment

We got Bam-Bam from a family that no longer wanted him and kept him on a chain outside. We took him in and he has been the biggest sweetheart ever. But like most outside dogs,pesky Mosquitos got to him and infected him with heartworm. His prior family apparently didn't have him on preventatives. From a recent visit to the vet we found out the news that he is heartworm positive. We want to start treatment as soon as possible and I am asking for any donations possible to help get the treatment he needs. We have already started him on pre-treatment to weaken the heartworms, and as soon as the inflammatory infection in his eyes is cleared we plan for the treatment to begin. We simply cannot afford his treatment on our own anymore. Even if we don't reach our initial goal of $450, whatever IS raised will go directly to help pay for his treatment. So we ask for your help please, so he can continue living a happy, healthy, new life indoors with us. No donation is too small, every penny helps.
