Creative Me
Who are Creative Me?We are a hub of creatives based in Hoxton, London. We believe every young person should feel valued and accepted. We seek to create a space where these truths may become a reality to them and we aim to use different art forms to empower young people to not only find their voices, but to share it as well.
What do we do?
We run a six-week photography course looking at-Technical, Camera Shooting and Editing skills
We are hoping to also run courses in the near future on videography, software development, performing and written arts.
Why do we want to raise money?
The young people in our area (Shoreditch/Hoxton) are surrounded by art, creative industries and agencies but do not have direct access to these art forms, skills and equipment. We are raising funds to run the courses to a high standard. All funds raised will go towards purchasing equipment. This equipment will be used across all the courses that we wish to run.
We need to purchase the following-
3x MacBook Pros 13"
6x Cannon 1300D Digital SLR + EF-S 18-55mm
3x Lacie Rugged Mini 1TB USB 3.0 Portable Hard Drive
6x SanDisk Extreme 32GB Memory Cards for Cameras
20 x USB 4GB
2x Neewer Flashes
3x Tripods
1x Second Hand Cannon MK2
1x Second Hand Cannon
2x Creative Cloud Packages
How can you get involved?
1. Donate Money
We would love to raise our funds asap so that we can get ready for our first course for 2017 in July. If you can donate anything towards our project we would feel incredibly thankful, and the young people would be greatly impacted.
