Wing Chun Kung Fu Classes

Earlier this year we decided to start looking into some extra classes and activities that our kids could participate in. We have considered many different options based on their individual personalities and interests. We kept coming back to wanting to get them into Martial Arts. We began researching different schools and found Red Lotus School of Movement. After observing some workshops, talking to the owners and instructors, and even having a chance to visit with some other parents who had children attend, we decided this was the school for us. We were particularly impressed with the way they taught the children more than just how to win at a competition. They work on meditation in each class and really focus on individual balance, control, and discipline.

At the beginning of the summer Malia and Constance were able to participate in just a couple of classes and they loved it. In fact, they have not stopped talking about it since. At the end of the class we talked to the instructors and they thought that both girls did well and would enjoy the classes. They were really excited to have the girls come back. The girls keep asking when they will get to go back. This is something that we feel they will truly work hard at and enjoy for a long time.

We are determined to give them this experience and are reaching out for your help to make it happen. We are asking for help to get them enrolled for the upcoming fall session. If we are able to reach our goal before Red Lotus starts their next youth session on September 13th we will be able to pay their tuition for the full 10 weeks as well as purchase them uniforms (Red Lotus t-shirts, yoga pants, and appropriate shoes) to wear to class. Any funds earned above and beyond our goal will be applied to future sessions or other extra curricular activities for all the kids.
