Declan Says He NEEDS a Car

Declan played with the girl across the street this week at the park.  She has a red corvette power wheels with working radio, play seat belts, etc.  She is 4 years old and doesn't want to be used by the neighbor boy for her toys.  He is absolutely crushed when she doesn't want to play with him and constantly asks, "Where's Millie?"

He looks out our front window and yearns for the car sitting in their driveway.  He's not being bratty about it but he also doesn't understand waiting until his birthday which is in December, six days after Christmas.  December in New Jersey is not exactly prime Power Wheels driving weather.

He wants it NYOOOOW.  With his mom on maternity leave and his baby sister due any day now, this isn't really the time for big toy splurges. So I told him if he can't wait until his birthday, he'd have to ask the internet.
