It was college, summer break--love at first sight. The night we met, John had already imagined what our children would look like. We knew that we’d be a part of each other’s lives forever, but unfortunately, we lost contact. Years later, we reconnected at church and we have been together ever since. Ready for children, on our wedding night we began trying to conceive naturally. To date, it has been three years in our attempt to become pregnant. When we learned that we would not be able to conceive children naturally we were devastated. IVF (In vitro Fertilization) has become a viable option in our journey to expanding our family, however, the monetary responsibility has become a heavy burden on our finances.
We are asking for your support in donating to our IVF fund, which will provide us with the proper treatment and medication to conceive the children that we’ve always dreamed of welcoming into this world. Unfortunately, since my ovarian reserve is diminishing rapidly, time is not on our side. In the abrupt notice that IVF is our only option, we have been able to save $5000 to contribute toward the treatment. Our goal is to raise $24,755 to fund the full IVF Treatment process. Funds for this campaign will be allocated to the following IVF expenses:
$4,000 - Medical Group Fees This includes injection training, ultrasounds, return visits, telephone consultations, egg retrieval, labs and cycle review.
$6,600 - Surgery Center Fee This includes egg retrieval, surgery supplies, recovery room care, embryology services, intra-cytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI), and cryopreservation.
$460 - Anesthesia
$2,225 - Embryo Biopsy
$2,170 - Preimplantation Genetic Screening (PGS)/ Preimplantation Genetic Diagnosis (PGD)
$3,200 - Frozen Embryo Transfer
