ConserVANtion

Together, we are a conservation duo, determined to leave our world in better shape than we found it.

I'm a Graduate Research Assistant in the Department of Forestry at Mississippi State University studying Forest Hydrology :) I've also been lucky enough to be elected as the current Forestry Graduate Student Representative , President of the Graduate Student Association, and Graduate Ambassador for Mississippi State University. I am a marathon runner, an avid snorkeler, and model on the side!

My boyfriend, Jordan, is a PhD Graduate Teaching Assistant in the Department of Biological Sciences studying predator-prey dynamics and the President of the Biology Graduate Student Association. He loves backpacking and being fully immersed in nature, as do I :)

Our personal goals include volunteering in places of need and eventually filming a documentary about endangered species and land conservation (www.ConserVANtion.org, being filmed from our wonderful VW Vanagon). We want to in due-time, create a non-profit to draw attention to conservation and sustainability awareness, and community and youth education. 

We want to make a difference.
