Cole TV: The Pilot

I'm making a TV show. For the past two years I have written and performed a brand new hour of character-based sketch comedy every month. That's a lot of material. And a lot of it is great. Don't believe me? Ask Lena Dunham. Now I want to film the very best of those sketches to make a sort of "pilot," a 22-minute episode that I can take to networks, producers, and/or production companies to sell, or at the very least show them what I can do so I can sell myself. With places like Netflix and even f***ing Zappos throwing money into developing new comedies and my experience already creating and self-producing my work, SOMETHING will come of this or my name's not Kome Edskoka!

But I need that money you keep thinking you might donate to Hillary. I've enlisted the help of some very talented friends (a director, a DP, and a line producer) who are willing to collaborate for free because they believe in me, my talent, and my work. I've figured out ways to cut every corner I can, but there are production costs (lights, lenses, set decoration, a couple locations that aren't my bedroom with a hand-drawn sign that says "This Is An Office", decent mics, sound mixing, color correction and other pricey equipment rentals).

If you know anything about filmmaking, you're probably aware that $7,450 does not go very far, but for me it is the difference between this happening and not happening. If you can afford to give even a little bit, (even $10, $5, or $1) you'll make a world of difference to me.
