For the last year, I have been in a long distance relationship with my boyfriend Alex. It has not been easy in the least bit. But we both believe it's time for me to relocate and start our lives together. Unfortunately neither of us have the funds to make it happen right now, which is why I am asking for help.
In May 2013 I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's Disease. Hashimoto's is an autoimmune disease in which your immune system attacks your thyroid gland. In July of 2013 I underwent a total thyroidectomy in hopes to make my quality of life better. Unfortunately a year later I am still struggling with many symptoms of this disease along with other autoimmune diseases that have shown their face. I can only work part time due to some of these symptoms. Almost all of my money goes toward medical bills and getting myself out of the debt that has accumulated since I became sick. Although Alex has been there for me emotionally, he can't help me financially at this time. He also works part time but is in his last year of college. Neither of our parents are able to help us with the financial part of moving either.
What I am asking is if anyone could donate even $5 to us being able to start our lives together free of my debt, it would be the most amazing gift possible. I realize the goal seems like a lot of money, and it is. But it would not only get me out of debt but would then give me enough time to find a place for us to live and to find a new job when I relocate. So if you could please help by donating or even by spreading the word, it would mean more to us than you could ever know.
