Ayden's Heart-Ayden is a 9 year old boy of one of my co-workers. He has had some serious medical problems and now is looking to receive a pacemaker. He is now unable to enjoy many of his loved outdoor activities and would like to be able to enjoy his time inside by having his own entertainment. He has a great attitude and loves life.
I am running my very first 5K. In honor of Ayden. I also have a 9 year old and could never imagine what it would be like to go through a time like this with my child. The tests and facebook statuses of his mother and father are heart felt. I would like to be able to give back to a family that made me feel welcome when I was new to our company in Troy, MI. They have a heart for people.
Ayden was born with a rare disease. It is called adrenal hypo-plasia congenita. He is the youngest ever diagnosted at 10 days old. He has been sick since he was 8 days old and his heart stopped many times but he wanted to live. He now has over $40,000.00 in medical bills after insurance. He is currently experiencing more symptoms and issues that need attention. This means more money and more hospital time.
