Clover is doing well! Her staples have been removed, and she goes to physical therapy again today!
Clover's surgery went well. The cruciate ligament and her meniscus were torn. She is home, recovering. She was able to eat this morning, which is good.
Clover's surgery is scheduled for tomorrow! Please pray!
1 Thessalonians 3: 7-9
Therefore, brothers and sisters, in all our distress and persecution we were encouraged about you because of your faith. For now we really live, since you are standing firm in the Lord. How can we thank God enough for you in return for all the joy we have in the presence of our God because of you?
Clover is still limping, but I'm feeling more at peace as the surgery date comes closer. The finances are being provided, and donations continue to come in! I feel so blessed and I pray that the giving will continue. This surgery, although expensive, is routine for the surgeon, and it will help Clover so much! Thank you all, again, for your support.
I just spoke with the physical therapist for Clover. She will be going to at the minimum 4 sessions after her surgery, and then depending on her progress we will figure out how much more she needs. Praise the Lord- the vet's office and the physical therapy office are literally two blocks from house. This is God's planning- since I cannot drive it will be very simple to get her where she needs to be. Thank you all for your continued support.
Clover's surgery is now scheduled for Friday, June 1st. Scheduling issues are a little stressful, please pray for peace of mind. Please continue to spread the word, donations are much appreciated. Keeping Clover settled and inside while waiting for surgery is hard...she wants to play! But I know she can't and will have to wait.
Based on the cost of pre-op bloodwork alone, and the fact that Clover will have to stay overnight at the vet's office- I have raised my goal. Clover's surgery has been postponed to Thursday, May 31st (the vet had a personal emergency- has to go out of town). Please continue to pray, especially for pain management for Clover as we wait for surgery.
SOOO....Clover's surgery has been postponed (the surgeon has to go out of town on an emergency). It has been rescheduled for next Thursday, May 31st. But, good news, the grant went through from IAADP!
Clover had her pre-operation bloodwork today. The surgery is still a go for Friday. Thank you! Clover got all muddy today, and is now bathed and asleep. She is so precious.
Almost at our goal, but I just heard from the vet that the estimates I was given was for the surgery alone. Financing physical therapy is a big concern at this stage. Even when this page reaches the goal, you can still give, and please do if you are able. The surgery is scheduled for Friday (May 25).
This is Clover as a baby. <3
Clover has been limping even worse today. I will talk to the surgeon tomorrow about scheduling her surgery. She will need pre-op bloodwork, as well. Please keep us in your prayers, and please continue to spread the word. Clover keeps me safe, so she deserves the best treatment possible. She's my princess.
The support Clover and I have received is overwhelming, in a good way. I want to thank each and every person who has prayed, donated, and shared my story and this need with others. Clover's surgery will most likely be scheduled for the end of this coming week, but I'm not sure at this point. Donations are still needed because physical therapy will be required after her surgery, so please pray that my goal will be reached, even surpassed! Thank you!
I am feeling the love of God. Blessed. Thank you! All of you!
I'm open to other ways to raise money. Bake sale anyone? Charity yard sale? Be creative, help this puppy out!
I've had some questions about Clover. She is a purebred yellow lab, and she just turned 3 years old on May 6. The vet says that being young and otherwise healthy is a great advantage for a speedy recovery! But first we need to raise the funds to fix this knee!
Watch a YouTube video of Clover!
Clover, my service dog, is a very special dog. She is a cardiac alert dog- and helps to keep me safe every day! But right now, Clover needs our help. She needs KNEE SURGERY to fix a torn ligament. There are a lot of costs involved (procedure, follow-up visits, physical therapy, medicine)! Clover's mom, Shannon, can't afford to help this wonderful dog out on her own. Would you please consider donating? And please pass the message along!
