Bear needs eye surgery.

This is Little Bear, a three month old russian blue. When he was about two weeks old my boyfriend found him up at his job stuck in the wall so naturally I told him I could take him in. The night I picked him up I noticed something was wrong with his eyes so the next morning I took him to the vet and that's when I found out he has something called eyelid agenesis and that his right eye isn't fully developed. Eyelid agenesis is lack of complete formation of the eyelids. The lack of eyelids also causes his eyes to dry out so twice a day I have to put ointment in his eyes to keep them lubricated. And since his right eye under developed its constantly fulling up with a mucusy discharge that I have to clean so it doesn't cause irritation. Just recently I was able to take him to an eye specialist to figure out what could be done for him. His right eye(the under developed one) doesn't pose a threat so it is to be left alone so the only thing that requires medical attention is his left eye(the fully developed eye.) Since he doesn't have upper eyelids it allows the hairs to rub agaisnt the surface of the eye which could potentially cause inefection or even blindness. The surgery that he would under go would be to get rid of the surrounding hairs so that they would no longer sit in his eye. Bear is the sweetest most craziest little kitty I know and I just want to give him the chance to lead a normal life. Right now I dont have the means to pay for his surgery so that's why I've set up this account, any donations, big or small, will be beyond appreciated.
