I will write more in-depth about the details of this story soon, but I removed a lot becuase it doesn't relate to what I'm dealing with currently, and I want to make sure and give a good short description of what is current and not a lot of extra reading for everyone who is looking to help :)
Essentially, I've had 6 brain surgeries, and this last one I've had my forehead removed, so I will be like this for about a year until a prosthetic is placed under my 7th brain surgery. I had a Pulmonary Embolism this month as well, which has maxed my insurance deductible immediately. I live on disability right now, and though I had a great career in design prior to this, it's not enough to live, pay for healthcare monthly and also pay for things that matter like a healthy diet, acupunctire and other healing modalities that are extremely helpful with getting me into a state that allows the best chance for less stress, the best balance within the body and the best chance for no complications as I go through yet another dificult surgery.
I have so much to give; and this is hopefully the last step helping me get there - I just can't do it alone, I've tried. I feel enormous guilt for posting a fundraiser. But the release of stress and outpouring of love is a huge gift to me, to anyone dealing with illness. I know many of us have to do this and I'm not alone. I wish the pain and nervous system senstivity allowed me to be more involved in the world than I currently am, but I'm hopeful, and someday I hope to be helping in a much bigger way. My heart has opened within all of this, and I am grateful for anyone willing to help me get through it all. Thank you, thank you, thank you <3
