CityReach Philly is a church affiliated through fellowship and accountability with The Assemblies of God and CityReach Network. Launched in September 2013 and led by Pastors Mark and Wanda Novales, our mission is to reach the one who is far from God and help them become a passionate follower of Jesus.
We do so by hosting outreach events and partnering with local non-profit organizations, churches, and businesses. Over the last 2 years, we have been a part of over 25 events that have impacted over 10,000 people! These include multiple feeding & clothing provision events for the homeless, hosting two free large-scale carnivals, monthly nursing home visits, children events, youth retreats, men & women retreats, marriage enhancement classes, household financial freedom courses, park cleaning events, school painting, teen flag football sponsorship, and weekly worship services.
Since 2013 we have been operating out of rented facilities, and feel that it is time to establish a permanent church home for our nearly 200 weekly visitors.
Recently, we purchased on a property located at 6814 Torresdale Avenue located in the Tacony section of the city. We believe this facility will mark the beginning of a new chapter for our church.
The facility gives us the ability to have a permanent church home for the nearly 200 children, adults and families who attend services weekly. It will provide space for worship, youth/children events, and will serve as a staging area for many community outreach efforts. The facility is structurally sound, but does need some repair and enhancement. Our goal is to raise $50,000 in order to ensure that this facility is sound and able to host hundreds of CityReach families today and well into the future. We believe that if we come together as one unified body our goal will become very attainable.
We ask that you consider joining our campaign by presenting our church in your prayers and by spreading the word about CityReach Philly. We would also ask that you make a tax-deductible monetary donation to our church. Every penny counts!
