CELTA English Teaching Course

Hello, all!

I am a Californian, living and studying in Scotland. I just wrapped up my Master's at the University of Edinburgh, and am about to embark on the next adventure in my life. Teaching is a very logical step for me; I love it. I have been accepted into a full-time CELTA (Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults) course, to prepare teaching as soon as possible. Edinburgh offers one of the lowest-priced CELTA programmes in the UK, and thankfully I already live here. This four-week intensive programme begins on 8 September 2014.

I would like to stay in Edinburgh through November for my graduation, but then I plan to be off to Brazil to start teaching! And with YOUR help, I'll be a teacher in no time! I love nothing more than inspiring people to feel passionate about something. And teaching inspires. I do plan on teaching English as an intermediary stage until I decide to pursue my PhD.
