Chunky Dunk: Milk and Cookies Truck

Anyone that knows me can tell you that I spend most of my day either baking or talking about baking. During my past two years of graduate school, I often fed my peers, professors, and the staff with cookies as a way to destress. Being in the kitchen is home to me, and I've known for a while now that after my upcoming graduation I wanted to share that sense of home to others. 

Cue the big news.... I am opening a food truck on May 14th in Fayetteville, AR. Not just any food truck either, a milk and cookies truck to be exact. Through the love and support of my friends and family, I have found a truck to rent, property to sell my cookies on, and a place to be able to share my passion, and my dog Chandler's smiling face, with whoever happens upon our truck. 

I have saved up enough for rent and food supplies, but there is so much more that goes into the truck that I cannot afford on my own. I am hoping to be able to get a larger kitchen aid, a few new mixing bowls and meauring cups, as well as a used or refurbished iPad for finacial matters (cash register, sales reports, etc.). I am also hoping to paint the truck and set up the space with chalkboard signs, tablecloths, and outdoor lights to make the area better lit for nighttime use. 

By helping to support Chunky Dunk, whether it is a monetary gift or simpoly donating a tablecloth or a mixing bowl you don't use anymore, you will be helping me to get the chance to live out something I've been dreaming of since I myself was a bit of a child chunky dunk. Any gift makes a difference, even if it is a dollar, and every person that donates will have their name listed on the side of the truck. People who donate over $25 will be given a free sandwich during our opening weekend, or mailed a pacakge of cookies if not in the Fayetteville area. 

I want this truck to represent not only a part of me, but also a part of the incredible amount of love, friendship, and support I feel surrounded by each day. Thank you to everyone who has read this post, who has taste tested cookies on cookies in preparation for opening, who has put up with all of my Tina Fey references in creating the menu choices, and who is helping me begin a new chapter in my life through the Chunky Dunk Milk and Cookies Truck.
