Chatsworth High Baseball Needs You!

The Chatsworth High School baseball program needs your help.

Our most important need is to construct a clubhouse, as our old clubhouse was demolished by LAUSD, leaving our boys and coaches to use a spare batting cage as a clubhouse for the past 14 months.  As LAUSD is not helping, we are on our own to raise the needed funds. We have to pour a concrete foundation, purchase the clubhouse and install electrical as well as refurbish the water damaged lockers and any other miscellaneous expenses needed to complete the structure.  Our goal is to raise the funds by December 1st so they can be in the clubhouse for the start of the season in February.  Our other needs include new L-Screens and tarps and other items to repair and maintain our supreme baseball field.

Our program is a 501(c)(3) charity and all donations are tax deductible (tax id #95-6029637).  Our boys must fundraise every year to meet the budget needed to maintain our program, but these unexpected items have left us looking for alternative methods of fundraising.  Any and all donations will go directly to the baseball program and will support the team in their efforts to have the style of clubhouse they once had, and hope to have again.

Chatsworth High School baseball is nationally recognized as an elite program.  Tom Meusborn, who is the head coach, has 2 national titles, 8 city and 18 league titles in 23 years of coaching at Chatsworth.
