Thank you to everyone for being so supportive and generouse to Christopher and his family.
I'm sorry to announce that during the morning of September 19th, 2015 Christopher Duran Hernandez passed away from his long fight with cancer. He is now with God watching over all of us!
There were two bone marrow matches found for Christopher through Be The Match's national registry, but unfortunately his health declined and he was unable to recieve the transplant.
Your support and prayers have been a strength to this family. Although we were hoping for a better outcome, he is no longer in pain and in a better place.
You are an inspiration to all Christopher and the strongest man that I have ever encountered or known! You will dearly be missed and never forgotten, We carry you with us every day throughout our life journeys!

Christopher Duran Hernandez is a 16 year old that has been battling Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia for 2 years. The cancer has spread to his bone marrow recently, he is now in need of a life saving bone marrow transplant!
It is our goal to find a bone marrow match for Christopher, raise awareness, promote the importance of ethnic donations, and get as many people registered with Be The Match as possible!
All donations will go to Christopher and his family to assist with medical bills and treatment.
