Bringing Christmas to Kotukala

When you think about Christmas, straight away you think of the presents you may receive, this year we want to do something different. We are going to be bringing Christmas to the children of Kotukala School in Gambia.
These children have only ever heard about Christmas before, they have never experienced anything like it, so let's make it an unforgettable experience for them.
We will be fundraising over the next few months,  to cover travel costs, school supplies and toys which will be much appreciated. We will also be fundraising for new school toilet facilities, as they are currently plumbed in western facilities and the children not having these at home, means they are often misused in such a way they are spoiled on a daily basis.

So please, when you think about Christmas, think about these children, and any donation will be much appreciated!

Cuando piensas en Navidad, enseguida piensas en los regalos que puedes recibir, este año queremos hacer algo diferente. Vamos a llevar la Navidad a los niños de la escuela Kotukala en Gambia.
Estos niños sólo han oído hablar de la Navidad antes, nunca han experimentado algo parecido, así que vamos a hacer una experiencia inolvidable para ellos.
Vamos a recaudar fondos en los próximos meses, para cubrir los gastos de viaje, útiles escolares y juguetes que serán muy apreciados. También estaremos recaudando fondos para las nuevas instalaciones sanitarias de la escuela, ya que actualmente están instaladas en instalaciones occidentales y los niños que no las tienen en casa, significa que a menudo son mal utilizados de tal manera que se estropean a diario.

Así que por favor, cuando piensas en Navidad, piensa en estos niños, y cualquier donación será muy apreciada!
