Help Special Needs Children Costa Rica

I am volunteering in Costa Rica! I am super excited and looking forward to using my Spanish to help in the childcare program.
I requested childcare or special needs work. The program will determine where I ultimately end up but I really hope that I get the childcare work.
Here is an example of what I will be doing for 7 days.
SPECIAL EDUCATION
"Volunteers with plenty of energy and a desire to contribute to the development of students with intellectual and physical challenges are welcome to join our Special Education project in Costa Rica. Volunteers on this project have the opportunity to work in a school for children with a range of physical and intellectual disabilities, or in a center for adults with autism.

"Volunteers with plenty of energy and a desire to contribute to the development of students with intellectual and physical challenges are welcome to join our Special Education project in Costa Rica. Volunteers on this project have the opportunity to work in a school for children with a range of physical and intellectual disabilities, or in a center for adults with autism.
The school offers the opportunity for volunteers to work alongside local teachers to help run the classroom and provide attention and care to the children. The school is divided into sections focusing on visually impaired, hearing-impaired and physically disabled children, and volunteers are assigned to help in one of these specific areas. At the center for autistic adults, volunteers play an important role in teaching new skills to these adults, providing training in areas such as knitting, horticulture and baking, providing the families of these adults with a break from acting as their full time caregivers."
For this trip I am hoping to raise funds for the flight, program fees, and supplies to donate to the program.
The funds raised will go first towards supplies to donate. They have requested children's vitamins, school supplies, clothing, antibiotics, first aid materials, face paint, chalk, stickers, stamps and more. Anything more will help cover the program fees and lastly the travel costs.
I'm overjoyed to sing songs and play games with the children!
I will be sure to take lots of pictures and write about my experience so all of you angels can share in the experience.
I know that everyone does not have the time to be able to volunteer but are willing to help out financially and so I thank you from the bottom of my heart for all of your support!
