Raymond Cormier III age 21 was the victim of a motorcycle accident on July 30, 2014. He sustained seriously critical injuries and by the grace of God he is still with us. He is very loved by many and has lead a full life to this point. Raymond has several pelvic fractures and both hips are broken. His right arm and wrist has multiple compound fractures and will need reconstructive surgeries. He has some brain injuries and the extent of function loss is not yet determined. Raymond had to be airlifted to a hospital that is 1.5 hours away from home. His mother (my sister in law) has been by his side as much as they allow. We all know insurance does not cover all cost and with the extended recovery time he will need all the help we can provide. Ray is young man that has contributed to the community by helping to feed the homeless on his weekends. Raymond has always helped people in need and had recently returned from volunteering in Americorps. Raymond loves the outdoors and was currently working an internship at Wildlife and Fisheries. Ray will have many months of physical rehabilitation and healing ahead of him. Please help him to return to serving the community and loving the outdoors.
