Help a Veteran Gordon Page in NPR

Hi!  My name is Susan Draves and before today I did not know Gordon Page.  Last night Channel  8 had a story about Gordon.  His home is completely flooded from the massive amount of rain we have been getting in the greater Tampa bay area.  His story brought tears to my eyes.  I decided to call  channel 8 to see what I could  do to help.  They gave me his number and I called him this morning. I met him out at his house  and got the tour.  The water damage is extensive.  Most if not all of the furniture is not salvagable.   The home is not liveable at this time.   I could go on and on  about the damage, but would rather get back to Gordon. 
Gordon is an 86 year old veteran who with his wife Myrna  run a home based primary care facility for veterans (VA Medical Foster Home, where heroes meet angels).  He made a comment that made me think, wow this guy is special.  He said "You know Susan it's not just Myrna and I that I worry about, I have three other people living in temporary facilities who just want to come home".  We all know that there is no place like HOME.  So I am now asking friends, family and the community to come together and raise some funds so we can get Gordon and his crew back home.  ps sorry about the sideways picture.  I could not figure out how to make it straight.
