Pitch In for Chicago Kids!

We believe a child’s potential should never be underestimated, especially during that crucial time before teenhood, when they start making choices for themselves, gaining experience and forging their way toward a meaningful life.
But they can’t always do it on their own.  That’s why the Wood Family Foundation created Pitch In, a long-term, mentor-based initiative designed to help promising Chicago grade-schoolers bridge the gap into adolescence.
