I was diagnosed with Epilepsy at the age of Nine. My treatment consisted of has been very unsuccessful over the past 21 years. I am trying to beat this but it will require me to have brain surgery in November – Mid December where I will be in the hospital again between 10-45 days. Unfortunately, while insurance pays only part there are other fees, co pays, outpatient test and additional hospital stays I cannot pay for. I have had to manage and live with the many immediate and late effects of my treatment. The unexpected events on Tuesday night have put me back financially again. I have been in and out of the hospital a total of 3 times in 2 weeks and had over 20 seizures on Tuesday night which I lost strength in my left side and will require physical therapy.
