carson's hydrocephalus/ medical bills

On Sunday, July 7,2013 we went to the hospital because Carson wasn't moving much. When we got there I was hooked to monitors to see how Carson was doing. The doctor said that she will go ahead and induce me because I was 38 weeks pregnant. But that all changed when Carson's heart stopped during the ultrasound at the hospital. They quickly rushed me back for an emergency C-section and Andrew had to... wait outside the operating room. After 6 minutes of CPR they got Carson breathing again, but he was in very bad condition. His umbilical cord was wrapped very tightly around his neck 5 times! that same day he was transferred to Johns Hopkins Hospital, where he was placed on a cooling blanket to prevent further brain damage. they also had to control his seizure that were occurring every 3 minutes. as a result of his traumatic birth Carson has brain damage in two areas of his brain along with hydrocephalus. Carson was finally able to come home with oxygen on August 8th! God has done so much for our little boy already!
