Care for Carmen

A few weeks ago we received some shocking news that our good friend Carmen Garcia was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.  She has had such a positive influence on all of our lives; she truly brings out the best in her colleagues, friends and students. She has lived such a vibrant, and purposeful life we would do anything to keep her with us a little longer.  We are hoping to raise some money to assist with her treatment and so her loved ones can spend time with her when she needs them the most. Carmen wants nothing more than to be back at the Academy with her students and we are hoping that with some financial help she can get the best treatment available and we will see her here again soon.
