On the 9th of June 2015 a normal family received the devastating news that their little boy Cameron had terminal cancer, 10 days later he was diagnosed with a incredibly rare Primitive Neuro Ectodermal Brain Tumour.
Cameron was diagnosed at 2 and half years old, he loved tractors and shetland ponies, he was the youngest of three children. Daniella is 11 years old she loves animals and all things Disney. Brendon, Cameron's half brother, loves everything to do with lego and wrestling!
Cameron's tumour was very rare he was one of very few cases in the UK and one of only 40 to ever be diagnosed in the world. The tumour was in a very intricate place within his brain and had attached itself to his spine proving inoperable.
Since Cameron's diagnosis you helped us raise over £5000. That money meant that Cameron had the most amazing last months imaginable. He’s been on holiday, he went to Thomas The Tank Engine World, Longleat, Drayton Manor and so much more. You gave his family the chance to make the most of the precious time they had left and for that they are eternally grateful. The family have decided to continue to raise money in Cameron's memory so that they can buy a caravan/holiday home for families in a similar situation and to keep his name alive forever.
Both Sarah and James grew up in Frome, Somerset and has since lived in Weymouth, Dorset for the past 9 years where they brought up their two children. They've recently moved to Nether Cerne near Dorchester. Daniella attends St Mary's School in Puddle Town and Cameron loves going to Chipmunks Nursery in Dorchester.
