Help a Disabled Vet

I am a service connected, 100% rated, disabled veteran. I was injured while performing my duties as a firefighter/medic during my time in the US Air Force.   I am a life member of both the Disabled American Veterans & the Jewish War Veterans of the USA, & a member of the American Legion.  My only source of income, however, is my VA Compensation check.  

Since everyone was so helpful when I needed you in the past, I figured I'd try my luck - and your generosity - one more time.     

I am trying to get a wheelchair lift for my truck.  I've done the research.  I found a decent price and a shop close to my home that would accept the delivery and install the lift.  What I don't have, is the cost for this thing. 

Because I have a 4 wheel drive, off-road capable power chair, the weight and size come into play.  The only lift I found that will handle the weight when the chair is on it, is the one pictured above.  It can also turn out to the side for infil and exfill of the powerchair, as well as fold up and out of the way when the chair is in my garage or home. 

The importance of it folding up out of the way is so there is not a four foot piece of wrought iron and steel sticking off the back of my truck when I'm driving without the chair, as is with the one I have now.   The other problem with the one I have now is that it is too heavy for one person to lift and attach to the back of the truck when I need it, and too heave for one person to remove when I don't.
