surgical fund

Hi everyone! Thanks for taking the time to read this. I'm a 43 y/o mom of 4 and grandma of 1, and d/t health conditions, I need to have surgery. I'm scheduled for the surgery on August the 12th. I have been out of work d/t health issues for a few months now, and been blessed with a wonderful son & my ex who have been helping me cover expenses until I can have the surgery and return to work. My ex also had plans to help with my surgical costs (the amount not covered by my insurance) & trips to/from the surgeon which is 3 hours from where I live. This past weekend my ex learned of the death of his aunt which required an unplanned trip from Texas to New York to attend the funeral. He's now unable to help pay the remainder of my surgical expenses and help with my trips to and from the surgeons/hospital. I've exhausted any/all savings I had, and had no benefits from my employment. If there's anyway you can help, even the smallest amount will get me one step closer, I would be forever grateful. Without the surgery, my health will continue to suffer and I'll be unable to return to work, I have never been dependant on others, so this takes a great deal out of me to even ask.
