Alder's Transition funds!

I'm a trans individual living in Washington State. As part of my near daily routine I wear a binder in order to ease my social anxieties of having breasts.

If you are unaware the risks of wearing binders are many including:
1. Small vessel damge and tissue injury
2. Bruising and fracturing of ribs
3. Lung Collapse
4. Spinal (back) problems
5. Low blood flow to the heart (could result in a heart attack)
6. decreased lung compacity (lungs only functioning to 30 and 40 %)
7. Decreased blood flow in the lymph nodes in the breast area. This could cause clots, damage to your circulation and lead to lymphatic cancer due to the bacteria build up and clogging of the lymph-nodes.
8. There have been reports about clots, blood clots and lack or circulation causing numbness and permanent loss of sensation in the breast/chest area.

As such one shouldn't wear a binder for more than 8 hours at a time... but lets me honest, who only has 8 hour a day lives? From the time I get dressed to leave my house to the time I get home and can remove my binder it's usually been 12 hours. As well as just the physical troubles, there's the small limiting factors of what I can wear, the difficulty breathing makes playing with my kid hard, swimming nearly impossible, and adds an extra *barely ventilated* layer of clothing in summer weather, and going to the gym a massive anxiety due to either being very exposed as trans and wearing bra's or risking a workout with severly decreased oxygen intake....

Now Washington State medical insurance does "cover" the cost of a Double Mastectomy or "top surgery" however one must cover the costs up front and be paid back sometimes months after surgery. There is also the costs of downtime.

I have a fairly physical job, I'm a bartender. Which includes a lot of arm and upper body movement and so I'd be out of work for at the very least one month. Leaving me do cover the cost of surgery plus at least $2000 of expenses for myself and my daughter.

Those expenses being:
Surgery ($6000-$6500)
Rent ($1000 a month)
Food ($200-300 a month)
Electric ($20-40 a month)
Phone ($30 a month)
School Loans ($200 a month)
Car Payment ($300 a month)

The cost of surgery plus time off would equal nearly $10,000, which would take me years to save up which raises the risk of damage caused by binding.

I know I said the the cost of surgery would be reimbursed, and so funds that where used for the surgery plus funds left over after my time off would be donated to a charity for Transyouth, desided by my donators.
