Have you ever felt like you don't belong here? Not in your job, or your town, but here. On Earth. It's because you don't. Have you ever felt like there must be some other world out there? It's because there is. Welcome to Gondwana, an ancient battleground populated by Earth's dead. It is the home we were meant to occupy, but it has become the last defense against Phosphor and his troops to prevent them reaching Earth and the unsuspecting survivers she contains.

When a motorcycle crash leaves Valmure dead and his little sister Grace at the mercy of abusive guardians, he has only one choice that can help her--join the resistance on Gondwana. Equipped with a pair of wings and a new purpose, he soon finds himself at the center of a prophecy that may prove as deadly to him as it does to those around him.

With three months to train until he learns his true fate, Valmure must settle in with his fellow soldiers—some of which seem to be taking this whole protect-the-Earth-thing too seriously (like Romulus) and others, (like Mockingbird) who don't take it seriously enough. Trained in survival and combat by a gargoyle who believes in learning on the job, and crushing on a girl who is actually a wolf, Valmure barely has time to adjust to one section of his new life before something else disrupts it again.

The Eigengrau want him, the Scathians have him, and no-one seems to know exactly what his purpose actually is, only that his arrival disrupts a stalemate thousands of years old. He was promised the chance to protect Grace from the great beyond—but the way things are going he might not even be able to protect himself.

Seven years ago I discovered a passion and a talent for writing. Six years ago I asked God for a story. Now I have Valmure and Gondwanna and the first of a trilogy of novels ready to be published. My calling as a Christian with a passion for storytelling is to publish YA fiction work that has truth at its core. Like C.S. Lewis does with his Chronicles of Narnia,I want to encourage, instruct, and promote serious consideration of the presence of God in our world through my fiction. My book has been read by believers and non-believers alike and was enjoyed by both.

I have been pursuing traditional publishing methods, but the more I research and contact the more I fear the possibility that any publisher I could find would try and change the message of my work. In light of this and in a desire to maintain full rights to my characters and story, I have decided to pursue publishing through WestBow Press, or a similar Christian self-publishing company that will allow me the freedom of writing and rights while providing me a way to sell my book across multiple platforms.

If God wills me to publish through this medium, I know he will provide the money. Please consider partering with me, or at least spreading word so others may.
