Lifelong Dream Trip to the CA Redwoods

To sit under the majestic ancient Redwoods has been a lifelong dream of mine.
As a girl, I loved to sit under trees. As a woman, that passion has continued. My grandparents- Grandma and Grandpa Devendorf loved nature, and taught me about it. Grandpa owned a private campground near a creek, they had many apple trees on their land, a pond, and a huge beautiful garden they lovingly tilled, planted and harvested every year.
They gave me a subscrition to National Geographic World magazine for Christmas or my birthday after we moved to Missouri in 1975. I loved to read stories about animals and different places around the world.
One of those stories was about the beautiful Redwoods of Northern California. I can recall thinking "Some day I will sit under one of these trees."
This year, that dream will come true. The spark has been lit, the embers are glowing and the fire is building. Plans have been made, dates set.
Please help me to fulfill this lifelong dream.
