Help Me Fulfill My Dreams at FSU

Hello everyone, some of you may know me and for those who don't, thank you for taking your time out to acknowledge this.

My name is DeYonté, I'm 19 and I'm a Studio Art major at Florida State University. FSU is my dream school and I've always wanted to attend and graduate from this university. Unfortunately some troubling times came across me and my family. My mom was laid off from her job for a while and it really impacted our income.

Coming to FSU, we were already struggling to find a way to pay for dues and I was working for minimum wage just to buy books and materials for classes. We've tried several times to get a loan and everybody kept saying no, and I don't really talk about my situations much but this is something that is important and dear to me.

I've always worked hard for everything that I've gotten, and my dream of attending FSU came true, but my dream of graduating from here is slowly starting to shatter. I am now doing what I'm afraid to do, and that's reaching out for help.
