My name is Jonathan, and I am a 7 year old boy diagnosed with epilepsy, scoliosis and spastic triplegia cerebral palsy, level 4. I am unable to walk, sit, stand, weight bare, or do any movements with my body that consists of mobility. My family and friends are fundraising to send me to a surgery that is only available in the USA. We are a long way from raising sufficient monies for my surgery and follow-up therapy but with your help, I can have the opportunity to be sent to the surgery called Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy at St.Louis children's hospital in Missouri. This surgery is a once in a lifetime operation with a 100% success rate for non-returning spasticity. This surgery will help to enable my little body to have more movement, with the opportunity to walk or be a little bit more Independent, and most importantly live pain-free.Unfortunately this surgery is unavailable in Canada, which is why I need your help to make my wish come true. Over the next few months, there will be several planned events that are being held in my honor to raise awareness and acquire funds for my surgery. I know that with the help of many hands, anything is possible.
