Holy Shih Tzu! We Need Your Help!

Our sweet dog, Ella needs your help. Ella was horribly injured when a van ran her over and fled the scene.
Little Ella has already had two surgeries: one to rebuild her broken pelvis and set her shattered leg and another to reattach both tubes from her kidneys to her bladder.
Our family is doing everything to care for this wonderful little Shih Tzu that we rescued from the Hawthorne ASPCA shelter. But the vet bills have reached $15,000 and are piling up every day, while Ella is still in urgent care.
We have reached the limit of our credit and can in no way pay pay the medical bills in full on our own. We need your help!
In the last few days, Ella has gotten a blood transfusion to complement her surgeries. She needs to be in her forever home where she can be cared for and loved and continue to heal.

UPDATE 7/28/2014
We are still waiting for Ella to come home. She is showing improvement, but the doctors have found a blood clot in her bladder and urine backup in her kidneys. Our little girl still has more healing to do to be on the road to wellness. We're hoping that she makes it home soon to heal and be loved by us!!
