Donations for John's Recovery

Last night I didn't expect to get a call from my best friend at 2:36am. She told me that her boyfriend, John Henry, was missing and had been since 9pm on 7/26/14. He told her he was coming home at 9pm and never showed up at their house and when she called she did not get an answer. In her efforts to find him she called all of his friends, made a trip up to his work in Chesapeake Beach, and even to the police station. No sign of John. 

I got a call early this morning at 10:57am and we found John but it wasn't good news like we had hoped. John was involved in a severe motor vehicle accident in Western Shores, MD. His car was completely torn in half. They are trying to claim that John pulled out in front of the car but the driver that hit him had to be driving well over the legal speed limit to do so much damage. John is okay but he is currently in the ICU in Prince George's Hospital. He suffered fractured ribs, a torn aorta, and a lacerated liver. He is currently on blood pressure medication to prevent any more damage to his newly repaired aorta and I was even told by his girlfriend that he has to keep calm and have no stimulation. 

This fundme is for John's future recovery. He will be out of work for a long time and unable to pay rent for his home. He also will need money to help pay for medical bills and treatment seeing as he has no medical insurance. I do not know at this time what happened to the other driver but I heard that he was driving impaired (possibly drunk) and we are still waiting on news from the authorities. 

Please please if you could donate. They really need to money and we would deeply appreciate it in this troubling time. She is my best friend and he my friend as well. He works hard and did nothing to deserve this, all I wish is for them to have money to put away for future recovery.
