TAP Junior represents USA in China

My name is Rachel Lang, I am 17 years old, from upstate New York, and have been playing pool since the age of 8. I'm trying to raise funds to play in the WPA 9-Ball Junior World Championship held in Shanghai, China. I have been given this rare opportunity as a reward for placing 2nd in my division at the Junior National 9-Ball Tournament. To represent the USA in Shanghai would be a dream come true for me.
       At age 14, I started playing in our local TAP pool league. Since joining, I have been awarded six MVP awards. Thanks to the TAP League, I, as a junior, can compete along side my parents. TAP also has given me the opportunity to travel to many states competing in Dream Team Tournaments. 
       This year, I enter my senior year of high school, in which I hold a 3.5 GPA. I live with my family on a small farm where we raise and breed goats and rabbits. After I graduate, I plan to attend college with a major in dental hygiene. I also hope that someday I might have a professional career in pool.
       All of my savings were spent on transportation and a room for the Junior National Tournament that granted me this once in a lifetime opportunity. I was only given four months to raise the money for this trip and I currently have no sponsors. All funds that I recieve will be used towards my flight, hotel, and other travel expenses associated with a trip this big and every dollar helps! Thank you so much.
