The Jessie & Hazel Fund

Jessie is 28 year old Quarter Horse mare who can no longer chew her hay. Her owner has suffered the loss of her husband, is overwhelmed and financially unable to afford the pellets that Jessie needs, or the forage mix that pasture pal Hazel is accustomed to. She has reached out for help repeatedly but no one has stepped up to lend a hand. Her horses need our help.
Jessie is a very kind mare who deserves a chance to live the last years of life with a full belly. Blue Horse Rescue is helping to provide the necessary pellets and vet care that Jessie will need to get back to a healthy weight and also feed for Hazel. Once this is accomplished we will be looking for a new home for Jessie and her pasture pal, Hazel.
We would really appreciate your help in providing the care and pellets needed to get Jessie back to a healthy weight and to keep Hazel healthy.

- the cost of a vet care, physical exam, & bloodwork for Jessie
- wormers & Psyllium,fly masks, fly spray
- 3-way mix for Hazel
- Bar Ale Equine Senior Mature Horse pellets for Jessie
