IFSC World Youth Championship

We are raising money to send Austin to the 2014 IFSC Youth World Championships in Noumea, New Caledonia from September 19th to the 24th.
The SCS season was amazing, placing 2nd at Regionals (Albuquerque, New Mexico), 1st at Divisionals (Santa Ana, California), and making finals at Nationals (Atlanta, Georgia).
Austin got his "climbing bug" during a cruise to Alaska. Soon after returning from the trip we got an email from the Alaska Mountain Guides & Climbing School, Inc., saying that we had to get this kid climbing. Two summers after we got the email, we enrolled him in a Momentum Climbing Gym summer climbing camp, half way through the week we had a meeting with the team coach from Momentum encouraging us to have him join the team; we haven't looked back since making that decision and Austin has thrived.
During his 3 years of competition climbing he has been to Nationals 4 times including advancing to finals 2 times (1 Bouldering, 1 Sport, 1 Speed, and 1 Sport & Speed). This is his first time getting a US Team invite to represent the USA in the 2014 IFSC Youth World Championship and we could not be prouder of him.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and we appreciate all the help we have received so far in helping Austin reach his goals; the biggest of which will be to compete on the World stage.
