New Miss Teen Massachusetts

I, Isis Rivera, have been chosen as entrant in the Miss Massachusetts USA/Teen USA Pageant, on November 22-23. I am participating in the pageant for a number of reasons: 1.) It is somewhat out of my comfort zone but sounds fun, 2.) winning would mean I win money that goes to my college expenses and 3.) it is a chance to bring awareness to children who have not only kidney failure like me, but organ failure in general. It would give me a chance to be a voice for those who literally and figuratively cannot speak for themselves, and show them that and illness doesn't have to stop them from accomplishing things. All money raised will go to travel, food and hotel expenses; any money raised over $1200 will go to my dress, shoes, make up and other in pageant expenses.
